    At the foot of the Andes Mountains at an elevation of 4,000 feet Alejandro Sejanovich and Jeff Mausbach found the right conditions to produce TintoNegro Limestone Block Malbec. Meaning “black wine” in Spanish, TintoNegro is known for its dark, blackish color and one look as you pour this wine into your glass there is no mistaking that this is definitely a TintoNegro. Medium bodied and silky, this wine has a nice, tight core and flavors of dark cherry. The rocky lime stone soil lends itself to the finely grained tannins in this wine. The bright and lively flavor in your mouth and the unique vinification techniques showcase the concentration and complexity of this celebrated grape. All these characteristics ease off to a long finish and one instantly thinks of a simple Skirt Steak on the grill to accompany this wine.

Made from 100% Gamay grape this wine from the appellation of Fleurie is organic and naturally made seeing no pesticides in the vineyard and all the fruit being hand-picked. The black currant color is the glass is enhanced by a nose filled with nuances of crème de cassis. In the mouth flavors of berry, black cherries, and an overall nutty character lead into a lingering finish zesty with acidity. Very food friendly this wine is an excellent pairing with any of your meat, salmon or chicken recipes for the grill.
