    Producer Michel Reverdy's family has been making wine in the eastern party of the Loire for centruies. This Sancerre Rosé is comprised entirely of Pinot Noir grape from vines with an average age of 30 years. Its invitingly light pink color hints at aromas of soft red fruit and flavors of strawberry with noted minerality. While delicate in color, this wine has a bold flavor and would pair perfectly with grilled red meats as well as grilled white meats. One sip of this rosé on a warm summer evening and you will come to realize why rosés are what the European crowd drinks all summer long.

    Henri Bourgeois' 'Le Vert-Galant' Coteaux de Vendomois traces its heritage to the reign of Henri IV, taking inspiration from the wines local to his chateau in Vendome. The fermentation and maceration process develops a very dry rose with hints of strawberry and citrus. This perfect aperatif will be sure to give you chills even on a warm summer afternoon.

    The Wolffer Estate employs Old-World grapes and methods to produce a uniquely New-World rose. Enjoying the breeze off of the North Atlantic just 2.6 miles away, the vineyard's terroir mirrors the conditions of bordeaux, lending this wine a European elegance that compliments the liveliness of the Long Island soil. A gorgeous salmon-copper in the glass, the floral and flinty aromas segue smoothly into peach and apricot on the palate. A classically dry finish rounds off this engaging rose. Best enjoyed well-chilled, either on its own or with any number of summer seafood dishes.     Viña Godeval specializes in wine made exclusively from the elusive godello grape, an incredibly rare grape native to Galicia thought to have been extinct before resurfacing in the last 25 years. The Bella Union Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of 89% Cabernet with the remaining 11% being Malbec, Petite Verdot and Cabernet Franc helps create the Bordeaux-like style of this wine. Greeting you with aromas of dark berries, cassis and hints of vanilla bean this wine segue into the flavors of juicy plum, black cherry and blueberry which expand on the midpalate followed by a layered progression of warm toasty oak, cinnamon, baking spices and nutmeg.     Weingut St. Urbans-hof was first established in 1947 by Nicolaus Weis, it is now run by his son Hermann and daughter in law Ida carrying forward his winemaking traditions. The vines are planted on the very deep south facing slopes where the water slowly drains and the evening breezes cool down the vines come nightfall. The result is an aromatic wine featuring intense minerality along with flavors of green apple, peach and Bosc pear. This all leads into a steely finish that offers notes of white stone and fresh herbs.
