    This incredible Slovenian wine greets you with a bouquet of elderflower, grapefruit and freshly cut grass. On the palate nuances of green pepper and gooseberry come to light and mesh in perfect harmony with a hint of wood and a succulent finish. A perfect example of wines we will be seeing from this central European country. While this wine can be enjoyed on its own, the gastronomic experience when paired with fish or light pasta entrees elevates this wine to a new level.

    The Montfrin Côtes du Rhône is produced from fruit grown at the outermost edge of the appellation. Like all of the wines from Château de Montfrin, the grapes come exclusively from their own 120 hectares of organic vines around the town of Montfrin, vinified on-site using native yeasts. Their Côtes du Rhône has an unusually high proportion of Grenache blended with Syrah and a touch of Carignan, which gives a little twist to a classic wine.

The result is a wine that gives off a flowery nose of peony and cherry blossom with notes of fresh fruit in the mouth along with a slight hint of spice.

These sites are a mix of volcanic-based sites, and vineyards planted on sedimentary soils. All sites are farmed in an organic/biodynamic manner. Brimming with bright cherry aromas on the nose, once in the mouth, undercurrents of black fruit surround the elegant and structured core.

    Erbaluce is a grape native to Piedmont, Italy. The “Misobolo” is the most cherished vineyard on the estate, home to the 4000 of the oldest Erbaluce vines. The flavor profile of this wine shows off a straw-yellow hue with pronounced aromas of pear and honeydew. Well structured and balanced on the palate with a long mineral and savory finish. The crisp, dry taste makes it an ideal companion to fish, and also pairs excellent with vegetable pastas and mild cheeses.
