Yes, the Patron family of tequilas are made with 100% agave in Jalisco, Mexico, much like many of its peers. What separates Patron tequila from other tequila, then, is the process itself. The agave is hand picked, carefully harvested, and closely trimmed. It is then slowly steam baked in small brick ovens& afterwards it is crushed, fermented, and twice distilled using two different methods. The Reposado is aged in small oak barrels for over two months, all of which creates a tequila rich in citrus, honey, and light vanilla flavor.
