Named after Alexander Gordon, an Englishman who came up with the original recipe for Gordon's in 1769-- which, in effect, changed how all gin was made. Made from juniper berries that have been aged for two years and distilled three times over, Gordon's also boasts such ingredients as coriander seeds, angelica root, liquorice, orris root, and orange and lemon peels...but the exact combination of the botanicals is a well kept secret. One thing we do know is that when you think gin, chances are you're thinking Gordon's.
