The Cerro Añón Reserva is a classic Rioja from Bodegas Olarra, made primarily from Tempranillo with Mazuelo and Graciano. Bright and expressive, it offers aromas of ripe cherry, plum and blackberry accented by gentle smoky and oak notes. The palate is full-bodied yet elegant, with well-integrated tannins, fresh acidity and a lingering, fruity finish. It’s a beautifully mature, food-friendly Rioja that works particularly well with grilled meats, roasted dishes and hearty Spanish fare. The wine spends 20 months in oak, followed by additional time in bottle, giving it the balance and polish expected from a traditional Rioja Reserva.
