Bodegas Enguera carefully crafts this red blend which brings together Monastrell, Marselán and Tempranillo grapes. In the glass, Mégala shows an intense red color and an expressive nose of ripe plum and red fruit, accented by roses, Mediterranean herbs, juniper and thyme. The oak is beautifully integrated, adding subtle notes of chocolate, cocoa and licorice rather than overwhelming the fruit. The palate is elegant and well balanced, with fresh acidity, polished, sweet tannins and a long, savory finish. A wonderful example of how Valencia can produce reds with both Mediterranean richness and finesse.
