This is a unique, yet classic, rose coming from Italy. It can essentially be called a "Super-Tuscan" rose because of its use of grapes traditionally found in Bordeaux yet grown in Tuscany. Comprised of 70% merlot, 20% cabernet franc, and even more interestingly 10% mourvedre grape, which is extremely rare to find in Tuscany, adding a wonderful complexity and nuance to the wine's aromatics, while retaining the beloved classic profile of what we all know and love in an excellent rose.
