The Beaune Premier Cru from Louis Jadot delivers bold, dramatic aromas of dark blue and black fruits, damp earth and mocha. The palate is broad with ripe tannins and a very long finish, reflecting the generous yet structured ripeness of the vintage. The wine is 100% Pinot Noir, aged 16–18 months in large oak barrels (30% new oak). Representing a full-bodied style from Beaune, it shows excellent depth now but will reward cellar time to allow refinement of its rich fruit and firm frame.
