It adds focus and sharpness to the layers of dark, succulent fruit that appear on first nose. Plenty of perfume here as well, with abundant roses, violets, spice- dusted red cherries, and hints of orange rind. The palate has depth and density with a sense of power and detail to the tannins. Long, dense and fresh. We recommend pairing with hearty stew, wild game, roasted red meats and cheeses.
