Jean-Paul Thévenet is the third generation to produce wine
at his family estate in Morgon and his Morgon “Vieilles
Vignes” is made from two parceles of vines, one 45 years
old and the other 110 years old. Biodynamic and manually
harvested, this wine which is made from 100% Gamay grape is
harvested as late as possible in the season to achieve
maximum ripeness. The result is a wine with a beautiful
nose of cherry, pomegranates and slight floral nuance.
