Henri Bourgeois' 'Le Vert-Galant' traces its heritage to the
reign of Henri IV, taking inspiration from the wines local
his chateau in Vendome. The grape variety, Pineau d'Aunis,
native to the historic Loire Valley of western France but is
rare find outside of that region. The fermentation and
maceration process develops a very dry rose with hints of
strawberry and citrus. This perfect aperatif will be sure to
give you chills even on a warm summer afternoon.
