Weingut St. Urbans-hof was first established in 1947 by Nicolaus Weis, it is now run by his son Hermann and daughter in law Ida carrying forward his winemaking traditions. The vines are planted on the very deep south facing slopes where the water slowly drains and the evening breezes cool down the vines come nightfall. The result is an aromatic wine featuring intense minerality along with flavors of green apple, peach and Bosc pear. This all leads into a steely finish that offers notes of white stone and fresh herbs.
