The Wölffer Estate employs Old-World grapes and methods to produce a uniquely New-World rose. Enjoying the breeze off of the North Atlantic just 2.6 miles away, the vineyard's terroir mirrors the conditions of bordeaux, lending this wine a European elegance that compliments the liveliness of the Long Island soil. A gorgeous salmon-copper in the glass, the floral and flinty aromas segue smoothly into peach and apricot on the palate. A classically dry finish rounds off this engaging rose. Best enjoyed well-chilled, either on its own or with any number of summer seafood dishes.
