The Chocolate Block is a blend of primarily Syrah with the balance being Grenache Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault and Viognier. The nose has an abuncance of red/dark berry with aromas of violets and white pepper. The dark brooding fruit leads into a structured, opulent palate with notes of cardamom, cumin, cloves and black pepper. Cocoa powdery tannins mid-palate lead into a defined cedarwood finish from the French Oak.
