Viña Godeval specializes in wine made exclusively from the elusive godello grape, an incredibly rare grape native to Galicia thought to have been extinct before resurfacing in the last 25 years. A light green and straw in color, the wine offers a paradoxically intense yet delicate bouquet of blossoming citrus fruit such as lemon and lime, with a distinctly mineral character. The crisp, light-bodied palate is concentrated and presents excellent depth, with spicy fruit and ripe minerality. This delightful white wine is an excellent accompaniment for seafood dishes, especially fresh shellfish.
