The Ceretto Dolcetto is made from 100% Dolcetto grape and comes from the Rossana vineyard which is located on a hill just south of Alba. This particular vineyard has a very favorable exposure to the sun, and along with the clay/loam soil makes for one of the best areas for cultivation of the Dolcetto grape. Ruby red in color with the aromas of red cherries along with notes of lavender and hints of almonds. Palate flavors of black cherry lead into a soft feel in the mouth and a lingering finish.
