This wine is earthier and much more sauvage-suffused nose offers up notes of both red and dark pinot fruit that is trimmed in underbrush wisps. There is fine verve to the delicious middle weight flavors that offer an appealing texture while the lingering finish is moderately austere but not really rustic.
