Founded in 1600, the Hippolyte Reverdy family has been making wine in the Loire for many generations. This red sancerre is made from 100% Pinot Noir grape from vines with and average age of 30 years. The Pinot Noir in the 2019 vintage shines thru with a beautiful silkiness followed by a bright flavor of red fruit. The vineyards are farmed sustainably with the grapes being entirely de-stemmed before fermentation and the wine is bottled unfiltered.
