100 Points from the November 2018 issue of Robert Parker, the Cos d'Estournel is blended of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot and 1% Cabernet Franc aged in 65% new and 35% two-year-old French oak for 15 months. Deep purple in color, this wine slowly reveals floral nuances of lilacs along with rose hip tea and crushed stones. The palate is electric flavors of crème de cassis, kirsch, wild blueberries and mocha. Dense tannins firmly frame all these flavors and leads you into a finish with epic length.
