This wine from the appellation of Saint-Julien first dazzles you with its deep garnet-purple color as you pour it into your glass. You are next treated to a bouquet of dark cherries with hints of cedar as you swirl the wine in your glass. Once in the mouth you will find it to be well balanced, clean and pure with fine tannins. The flavors of dark plums and blackberries add to its solid core along with a chewy and earthy finish. Primarily Cabernet Sauvignon (60%) along with Merlot (27%) with the balance made up of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc.
