As with all Beaujolais, this wine is 100% Gamay grape and in addition, the particular wine is aged in burgundian oak barrels. This wine offers deep aromas of black cherry, pomegranate and fresh herbs and is also modest in alcohol (13%) which allows deep, full-bodied and plush flavor to show thru. The modest tannins and superb length grip the palate and stays focused right thru the flavorful finish.
