Founded in 1972, this family-owned estate never fails in its delivery of a true Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. The 350 acres of estates vineyards in the Stags Leap District, Carneros and Yountville appellations continues to bring us wines that are well balanced and complex. This newly released vintage had a growing season that brought warm, even days which helped produced perfectly developed fruit on all our vineyards. This wine has an intense inky-purple hue with aromas of coffee and blueberry. The lush and silky texture if full in flavor, with tannins that are approachable now, but will also mellow out if you decide to place it in your cellar for a few years. With grilling season around the corner, there could be no better pairing than the Clos Du Val Cabernet and a Dry-aged steak from the local butcher.
