One day, just for fun, High West put some rye whiskey into barrels originally used to age wine. When we mixed the ‘vermouth-ed’ and the ‘syrah-ed’ we discovered an all- natural, sweeter whiskey. This rye proposes notes of cinnamon sticks, brown sugar, and dried apricot& while on the palate, brings tastes of vanilla, cherry cobbler, and dried herbs. This rye finishes with spiced red berry jam, black licorice, and spearmint.
