This 100% Garnacha red wine is not to be missed. The wine comes to us from Calatayud, an area found in northeastern Spain, where winegrowers have been planting some of the best vineyards in a rich composition of slate, dry and high altitude soils for centuries. The wine boasts intense aromas of red ripe fruit, which come to life in a magical blend of cacao, vanilla and licorice upon tasting it. This Spanish red is exceptionally fruity and fresh on the mouth that pairs well with slow cooked BBQ, wild game and roasted root vegetables.
