La Pépie Côt is a superbly made red wine from France’s Loire Valley. Known for making some of the best wines in the Loire Valley, Domaine de la Pépière, La Pépie is made entirely from Côt, familiar to you as Malbec. La Pépie is fermented and matured entirely in stainless steel, making it slightly less opulent than its cousins in Argentina, but more the weight you look for in a red wine in the summer months. This full-bodied red wine, with its ripe flavors of red berry and hints of licorice is what makes it a perfect match for many of the items you will be grilling this summer – and the price certainly makes it worth a try!
