The Chateau Haut-Bailly is a Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (56%), Merlot (38%), and Cabernet Franc (6%). A deep purple in color, this fine wine has a complex, focused bouquet that is at once expressive yet refined. Aromas of raspberry, black cherry, cassis, and black currant are prominent, and hints of spice, sweet licorice, and chocolate echo in the background. The palate is medium-bodied, with vrilliantly concentrated structure, good acidity, and intensely sweet tannins that make for a delightfully long finish.
