This Pinot Noir from Burgundy is a collaborative effort between many Southern Cote de Nuits vineyards, and Joseph Drouhin, as always, has found the seemingly perfect recipe. Intense aromas of wild cherry, licorice, and mild spices waft, evolving towards notes of undergrowth and mushroom. On the palate, there is an excellent balance between tannin, acidity, and velvety texture. The aftertaste is reminiscent of little red berries.
