The fruit from the frappato grape vines are originally planted in sandy, calcareous soil. The grapes are then fermented on their skins in stainless steel tanks and aged for four months. Once they are at their peak of maturity and flavor,they are bottled and stored for another four months. Fresh notes of red cherry and currants mingle with bright acidity to make this wine very versatile. One can even put a slight chill on this wine if desired.
