Few Amarones are still family made in this era yet the Fumanelli Family has remained dedicated to this wine since its inception in 1470. Reflecting the famous grapes of the Veneto region it is comprised of equal parts of the Corvina and Corvinone with 20% Rondinella grape. It is well known how Amarone defines its uniqueness with the sun-drying of the grapes before the actual winemaking, and each bottle is comprised of a full vine of grapes lending it an unusually high consistency and a robust 16% alcohol.
