The Domaine du Cayron Gigondas is a blend of roughly 70% Grenache with equal parts of Syrah and Cinsault to balance it out. Vines at this estate are on average 40+ years old with parcels up to 70 years old. This incredible Southern Rhone wine is bold and explosive with phenomenal richness and incredible longevity. Spicy, sappy and concentrated with a bright ruby color and wonderful garrigue nuances of licorice, herbs and red fruit, it will pair enticingly with a variety of menus. This 15 hectare domaine is run by the Faraud Family and is a classic and top-flight estate.
