The Montesecondo Rosso literally jumps from the glass with pure aromas of dark cherry, rustic earth, rocks, and soil. This is beautiful, energetic wine from a small, family-owned estate in Chianti Classico, in the heart of Tuscany. All biodynamic/organic farming and very traditional winemaking practices result in a wine that speaks of Tuscan countryside. A fine example of Tuscany’s signature Sangiovese grape, it is matured in stainless steel barrels to preserve the wine’s freshness and acidity. A perfect match to a wide variety of pastas, grilled meat, sausages, and cheese.
