Estate bottled and produced, the 2015 Clos de la Roilette is a delicious red wine from appellation of Fleurie, one of the premiere growing regions in Beaujolais. This organic, naturally made, Gamay grape-based wine is rich, flavorful, and very easy drinking. The Clos de la Roilette has a deep blackcurrant color with a hint of purple. On the nose, nuances of restrained crème de cassis entice you, and in the mouth flavors of berry, black cherries, and an overall nutty character lead into a lingering finish zesty with acidity. Food friendly and cellarable, the Clos de la Roilette is a perfect match with any roasted meat as well as roasted poultry.
